LIZARD: FEAR ROADKILL REQUIEM

July 25, 2013

At first glance, Lizard’s dazzling ensemble appears to be somewhat respectable, but upon closer examination its design seems to be of slightly more dubious origins.

003[3]

The Requiem jacket, for instance, was inspired by certified, card-carrying Vikings who would don a denim jacket with faux leather sleeves for their nefarious activities.

004[3]

The Fear short sleeve woven is a fine 100% cotton black shirt that is emblazoned with a pattern that promotes—how shall we say this?—”happy fun times.”

002[3]

Look at the pants. The pants are a pair of Lizard King signature K-Skinny jeans in “roadkill grey” that are made from some of the finest denim on the planet, and then they’re washed with roadkill. Presumably the jeans, along with our highways’ finest and bloodiest carcasses, are all thrown into a dryer and turned to “high” where they tumble for hours together to create this spectacular wash… or not. Yeah, probably not.
