Dave Hacket, birthday boy Dave Duncan, and Christian Hosoi get ready to skate the bowl.

It’s been said that when the world ends there’s only going to be two things left: cockroaches and Dave Duncan. The original Dagger, skateboard legend, and all around ruler is indestructible. Dave just turned 50 and shows no signs of slowing down. KR3W is proud to have hosted his birthday party in the ONE Distribution park. Yeah, Dave. Let’s see 50 more.

Have you ever noticed that “knits” is “stink” backwards? Certainly in keeping with our “Filthy KR3W Forever” stuff. STINK WERK! But KR3W knits do not stink, at least not until you wear them. Backwards.

The Brooks is high quality, regular fit, 100% cotton jersey, with a four-button collar, and a KR3W logo tag sewn onto the hem. The Brooks is shown here in black, but it’s also available in off white.

The Attica is a long sleeve version of the Brooks, seen here in off white.

The Reeves is indeed a fine knit shirt. It’s high quality, regular fit, 100% cotton jersey, with a KR3W logo tag sewn onto the hem. It is shown here in blue and grey, but is also available in black.

Be especially careful with the Reeves. Do not wear any Reeves knits backwards because they will “stink seveer.”

We got shorts. When the temperature heats up, you need to air out your legs, and nothing does the job better than a pair of KR3W shorts. Here’s what we has gots for your leg aerating needs:

The Wake short, a comfortable white fleece short with an elastic waistband and drawstring, is what is known in the shorts industry as a “boner short.” We’re not sure why. But it’s fun to say. A similarly comfortable and casual short is the Bayside, which is also outfitted with an elastic waistband and is constructed from maroon, whalebone corduroy. No one said anything about boners in the Bayside, but there is whalebone. Close enough. Welcome to the bone yard.

We have two traditional chino short styles, the Beckly and the Dawson. The Beckly is made of heather twill and comes in navy blue and white, while the Dawson is made of a gingham check in two shades of grey.

The Wilson short is essentially a cutoff 5-pocket jean with no hem. It’s made of a rugged, yet lightweight cotton canvas, and we offer it in black or white.

KR3W pants come in nine colors, and two different styles: Five-Pocket Twill and Chino.

KR3W pants come in nine colors, and two different styles: Five-Pocket Twill and Chino. The Five-Pocket Twill has four pockets in the traditional locations (scoop in front, patch in back), as well as a fifth coin pocket, while the Chino style has four pockets exactly where you’d expect them (slash in front, welt in back). Both styles are available in three fits: K-Skinny, K-Slim, and Klassic.

All of our pants are constructed from a durable, yet soft, cavalry twill that is mixed with some spandex for a little stretch and added comfort. “Cavalry twill?” Yeah, we were wondering about that too. So we asked the KR3W designers about the “cavalry” in the cavalry twill and they mumbled something about it being a fabric that was invented for some European army or something. They refused to elaborate. The KR3W designers are very temperamental, as most artists are, and they don’t like to be bothered when they’re designing pants. But what we took away from the conversation is that our pants are engineered for war! So you’ll look smart as you charge into battle and wade through the carnage cutting a path with your scimitar, or your scabbard, or your skateboard, or whatever. KR3W pants: they’re engineered for war.

We got denim. Our Original Rinse Collection is seven glorious colors and styles that are available in a variety of fits. All KR3W denim is a mix of cotton and spandex that creates a jean that is strong and durable, yet comfortably stretchy. Our denim has also been treated to a variety of washes and subtle mineral treatments, which provide that soft, worn look and feel that every good pair of jeans has whether they’re black, blue, grey, or black slub. That’s just fun to say: “sluuuub.”

The KR3W Signature Rinse Collection features five colors and custom washes that were designed by three of our wonderfully enigmatic pro riders: Lizard King, Terry Kennedy, and Erik Ellington. Each piece is a mix of cotton/spandex and they all come with their own signature shoelace belt inside the waistband. The shoelace belt can also be removed and worn outside the waistband and through the belt hoops if it’s one of those nights where you feel like showing off your signature shoelace belt.

What’s the difference between skinny and slim? Well if you ask our pants, it’s a matter of inches—one and a half inches to be precise. Check out the brand new KR3W Denim Fit Guide to learn more.

Skinny, at least by KR3W standards of measurement, is skinnier than slim. Or slimmer than slim? Whatever. Trust us on this one. It has a distinctive tapered leg that ends at our narrowest leg opening (13.5”) and the shortest rise (8”). (All measurements are based on size 32” jeans.)

The K-Slim is also skinny, it’s just not as skinny as the K-Skinny, so we call it slim. It wouldn’t be untrue to say that slim is fatter than skinny. But not by much. The K-Slim differs from the K-Skinny by the aforementioned one and half inches. While the rise on the K-Slim remains the same (9”), the leg opening is slightly roomier (15”).

Can’t pull off the skinny jean thing? That’s perfectly normal for a young man your age. And that’s why we make jeans that come with a classic fit. Our classic fit has been aptly named Klassic. These comfortable, straight leg style jeans that have an ample rise (9.5”) and a wider leg opening (16.75”).
